Things are really starting to grow now... Lawns are coming on a treat and the veggies are starting to sprout extra leaves. Beans should be climing thier frames now, not to worry if they are not as some varieties are slow starters.
Provided the weather is mild and the grass is growing, applications of lawn fertilisers and weed killers can be made to established lawns. Depending on growth, regular mowings with the blades set at maximum height may be necessary, although most of our customers prefer us to cut quite low all the year round, which is fine so long as your grass variety is strong enough to cope or you regularly feed the lawn... we find tomato food does the trick at this time of year.
Do remember to keep all your plants well watered at this time of the year as the do need a lot that includes the fruit crops tree's and shrubs alike.
Do watch out for those late frost's keep your fleece's handy to cover when needed.
